McCullogh hid insttructions

Other than drilling the caps, installation is pretty straight foreward. Hardest thing is finding a place to mount the ballast/igniter.

help

Hello,
How did you connect the existing white female plug (inside the dust cap) to new black male plug and still have room to close the dust cap w/ hid blub installed?
thanks Jerry

You have to drill through the weather cap, or if you are really good, pull out an re-feed the wire through the rubber grommet in the center top section of the headlight assembly to have the wire come out without drilling the cap. Not recommended. 10x easier to drill a hole in the cap.

Make sure you drill the hole for the grommet in the TOP side (slanted) part of the weather cap. That way you'll have room to plug the adapter plug into the OEM bulb connector. It is much easier if you remove the entire headlight assembly from the car. Be patient when re-fitting the weather caps. I'd also suggest you remount the headlamp assembly without the covers to aim the lights after you install the HIDs. It is much easier than trying to aim them with the covers on.
