I was talking to someone today and they were mentioning methanol injection on SC cars. Anyone heard of this on an import? It is supposed to keep your SC running cooler plus give you extra HP. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

I was going to use Meth Injection on my Talon when I was racing it, I was looking at Snow Performances kit... Click Here. I think it would be great if you are wanting to run high boost without race gas.

Need standalone engine management though - can't just plug it on a std Comptech.
But in combination with AEM or other complementary EMS, it is actually one of the few ways you can actually get any cooling to the charge of a comptech with its plenum design (although if you research the FI forum, you'll find a couple of entrepreneurs experimenting with coolers. Very difficult to squeeze in however!)

I thought of going that route, until I discovered Torco. with a 6# CTSC, my butt dyno can feel the difference, esp. during my last trip to Vegas, when the outside temps were in the 90's.

I think i am going with Aquamist for my Methanol injection system. We are going to run it from the AEM. Work will be done at Autowave, so stay tuned for details.

I recently installed a meth injection system in my twin turbo. I did it for the safety of the car under boost as well as the performance increases. I am VERY happy with the results. My car dynoed at 528 RWHP at 9.7 pounds of boost with 92 octane pump gas and the water/meth spraying. Before I had the water/meth injection, my tuner stopped at 440 whp because of hints of detonation. He said the engine was so "happy" with the water/meth that he thought the engine would approach 600 WHP with more boost. I told him that the 528 was enough for me.

I used the high quality parts from FJO Racing. I did a lot of research and although, there are cheaper systems and comnponents, I like the quality and completeness of the FJO system. The plumbing fittings, and filter are stainless steel not brass. They have a good website with photos and info on their system and components. They were VERY helpful in advising me during my research and installation and tuning.

P.S. I have pictures but don't know how to post.
