Minneapolis - Lake Minnetonka Drive

I was hoping to get 5+ Minneapolis folks together for an NSX only (PURELY to keep it intimate, so no offense intended) leisurely drive around the Lake Minnetonka area.

I was thinking a Saturday morning sometime. The reason I chose Lake Minnetonka and not some twisties in WI was that I was hoping this could be a 1/2 day activity. For those of you that have families (I have two young kids) it would be a nice time to get out of the house but not totally bail on parenting needs.

And, I say NSX only because I don't want to be responsible for arranging something that some idiot comes to with his turbo/supercharged whatever (not an NSX) and then wrecks or gets a ticket during the drive. Its happened several times to me with the local Audi group.

So we would hand out the route map AT the pre-determined meeting spot and take a LEISURELY drive for a few hours then maybe grab lunch somewhere. Lets plan a 9am start.

Probably plan on starting/ending in Excelsior. Maybe lunch at Maynards or some place on Water street.

I would also need help planning the route as I am not completely familiar with it. Anyone up for that?

So we are set for August 23rd, rain date August 24th! Who else is in??

I highly doubt my car will be running by then, but I'll see if I can get a friend of mine ('95 blk/blk) to drive and I'll ride along. Actually I'll see if I can get a few others to join as well.
