Mode4 Ver2 Test Fit

Shiet man your car looks beautiful. That bumper is the best of both worlds by retaining the lights below the popups and the lower opening of the 02+. Definitely the best nsx aftermarket bumper, IMO.

Oh, thats a complete 02 conversion, thought someone had this bumper. Might just be his car (doesnt look good to me either) and/or the crappy cellphone pics. Theres another Brooklands Green that did the 02+ & from what I remember, I liked it. I think it had a roll cage. I tried to search but couldn't find it.

Mode4 v2 bumper in Japan.

I love this looking! Thank you Mike!!
-I think this front face looks thin.
-It was somewhat wide about 2cm to my car.
-The opening of turn signal was narrow.
Body shop need shaving there.
-Winker Lens cover for OEM bumper is short.
I had to make cover long 2cm by myself.
-cost
bumper, cross bar, fook cover, shipping and tax = about JPY350,000. (>o<)
fitting JPY190,000.
body all paint JPY310,000.

I definitely need to get me some sort of carbon fiber lower front lip. I already have the Carbon Fiber side spitters, CF Mode4 rear diffuser, Procar Mini rear wing, and DF CF NSXR spoiler, so a CF front lip would compliment my theme perfect.

Wow, a RHD NSX with a Mode4 bumper Cool. Looks great. Seems like everyone that has this bumper so far have red cars. Am I the only black one?

I recently added LEDs to my lip.

Saved myself about $2-$300 installing myself.
This will update the mode4 bumper a bit more.

Although probably the coolest things I have ever seen, aren't those going to get housed on the road?? I am careful but my lip takes a beating regardless.

(^that may be so) But thats the way that the lip is made in japan. I just saved some $ installing LEDS myself, which looks better than my previous post of lip. You would agree?
TK lip/original:

vs

empty spaces/no LED....serves what purpose?

I would struggle to buy that lip knowing I would be buying it again every 6 months. It does look cool though...

Tk lip

Is that TK lip made of carbon fiber?
No, it's not cf.
I loved my seibon cf lip but it cracked after 24hrs of very careful driving.
I got frp TK lip and hydro-dipped the part locally.
I also got fenders and gurney flap that are hydro-dipped as most but not all my cf parts.

are you going wide in the back to match with the front fenders?

I'm considering the KITE rear fenders. Still doing my homework on that though.

Although it doesn't look bad without rear fenders.

Looks great so far. I think you need to go a little wider in the rear now that you are going wide in the front. The picture above you can tell the rear is a little thin compared to the front. Not too bad, but still a little thin.

I think it would be best paired with wider rear quarters, to balance out the look, IMO you can get around by widening the back (some thing to do with it being rear wheel drive or i just like big butts) and not the front depending on how agresive the rear is, but most people have widen the front (function purpose, to fit different tire/wheel size) and left the rear untouched and to me it looks disproportioned in an odd way; Regardless you're car is already looking bad azz with a combination of greate mods (definitely 1 of my favorite).

might as well widen her rear while you at it. you probably going to be running wider tires to keep all that hp/torque to the ground.

I agree. Let's do it right.
I'll start saving up for kite rear fenders.
They don't deviate from NSX lines, just a little wider. "Rear 50mm total, 25mm per side"
Which means new wheels also. Think I'll go back to 18/19 set-up.

Received a couple of pics from some friends and their NSX project(s)
