Here's a tip if you want to kill the R/C antenna look, but are too poor to budget for a 'Smartenna' (if your portfolios looking like mine, I understand)...

In the trunk, remove the left side carpeting to reveal the antenna motor. Disconnect the plug that leads into the motor while the antenna is down.

I did this on my car, as my CD-changer is in the trunk, rendering the Smartenna useless. My FM is not affected, however, AM reception isn't so good (I don't listen to AM).
