what reasons do plates get turned down? do they give you a reason why?
Sexual, vulgar, promotes racing, etc. At least in California. Often double entendres as well.
I heard about the Tofu Queen who got her plate denied. It was about her love of Tofu.

+1, I tried that as well. Also tried VROOOM but taken also. You can't get them even with 1 less "O" in them because it still reads the same.:frown: GOT-NSX is available still but it does'nt grab me. WIFSMAD = Wife is Mad
WIFELSS = Wife Less (ie: no wife otherwise known as "Single")

JPN 4RE - seen it before but not sure if taken here or not.
NSXTC - was already taken
TKNSXYBK - one too many letters plus not sure about Timberlake reference.
