Hello Everyone, this is our first meeting of 2014!

The FIRST Thursday of the month of February is February 6th! That means the SoCal Monthly meeting is coming up!

As usual the group is meeting at South Coast Acura in Costa Mesa.

The dealership continues to support the NSX owners in the area, so they have asked us back.

This meeting will give us a chance to get together and just shoot the breeze and talk about up coming events. As usual SCA will be providing premier parking.

So plan on meeting at South Coast Acura at 6:00 PM Thursday Febrruary 6th.

South Coast Acura is located at 2925 Harbor Bl. in Costa Mesa. This is about 3/4 mi South of the 405 (San Diego) freeway on Harbor Bl. Just past Baker Street, on the Right.

Remember, they have said they will block off the front of the store so there should be lots of parking available!

NOTE!!!
The dealership MUST HAVE an accurate count of how many will be attending so they can figure out how much food to buy. I am guessing about 20 or so. If there will be more they need to know!

Also, SCA has been very generous and provided food for every meeting. There will be a cup by the food for you to donate to help defray the cost to the dealership. Please put a few dollars in to help out.

Please!
Reply to this thread if you think you can make it, so the dealership can have an idea how many to expect and make dinner arrangements accordingly

Thanks

I'll unfortunately be unable to attend.

There's a new NSX owner named Ed that should be going to the meet, he drives a red 97, and is an incredibly cool guy. I know the SoCal fam will welcome him with open arms and show him how amazing the SoCal NSX community is.

I'll be there.

Hmm. Should I make a double batch? If I do I'm sure there will be extra brownies. Do I have any volunteers who promise to take some home? Also, I usually make them with walnuts but if ANYONE posts that they want no nuts in the next 15 minutes I'll make some.

Sorry guys and gals but I'm going to have to bow out. Business meeting tonight that got scheduled late. Hopefully I'll see you all on the first drive of the year.

Hey everyone...

The weather Gods are not playing nice and I am afraid it is going to be raining pretty good during the meeting time:mad: That and based on the response to this thread I am tempted to suggest we wait another month to have our first meeting of the year.

Any thoughts?

:confused::frown:

Yeah, that's probably a good idea, however, I have a 13' x 9' pan of walnut brownies. My car is already dirty. If the meet is called off, I'll have to find someone else to eat the brownies.

I suggest we all come to your place so we can still have brownies tonight, we can even order pizza.

Okay. You do know I have three cats and am a cat lady, right?

Hey, Les, you could just come over and take a bunch of brownies off my hands, you know? Seriously.
