NSXPO 2013 - Raleigh, NC - October 11 -16

Signed up hotel, registration, including the $150 late charge I was told I'd get back, hint hint. Something about a glitch yesterday charging late fee day of .

This is a special NSXPO for me too, original owner '93, #16 nsxprime, and FIRST time my wife (original one there too!) is doing anything with the NSX..

So your going to set up an "old fart" original owner table? ..make sure it's close to the men's room and has good lighting...kiddin.. but we do have a wealth of experiences with repairs, mods, etc...if we can remember them..

Dennis, definitely will recognize all of the original owners. Sounds like you are going to be a lot of fun at NSXPO! There appears to be more original owners than I expected. Looking forward to meeting you and your first wife. Will make sure that late fee issue gets corrected.

Jan gets annoyed when I cal her "my first wife". It makes it sound like wife number two is just around the corner.

Meant no disrespect. I am currently living with my "first wife" as well. A rare thing these days. Looking forward to meeting you both.

I never assumed any disrespect. Just thought it funny. Rare indeed! Been with my first wife for 44 years. Looking forward to meeting you, also.

Bathtubs on a way beautiful beach...hmm...am guessing the marketing genius is the type who jogs on a treadmill at the gym next to a window on a nice sunny 65 degree day!

Based on things I've read in turbo2go's "marriage" thread, I'm thinking separate queen size beds in separate bedrooms in opposite ends of the house would be more dreamily fantasyful than this silly scene? :)

Congrats you guys, very cool tiiming!

I have only actually seen in person 2 NSX's in my life. The one I own and one owned by another member here who lives in the same town that I do. I feel like it may almost be too overwhelming to see over 100 NSX's in one place at the same time!!!!! I am really really looking forward to the experience.

Just checked the forum to see what's happening and saw all the talk about being married for forty plus years. Man I thought I was going to be one of the few "old farts" at NSXPO but it seems there will be more than a couple. (also married for 43 years)
I was planning on coming by my self but I'm trying to talk my wife into coming along. I'll probably have to fly her up there because
she doesn't like the idea of being six inches above the ground at high speed for long intervals of time. (I don't get it !!)
Would her coming along make a difference in the price? I can add any extra if necessary.
Did enjoy the bath tub deal, I could never figure out the two tubs either unless they are filled with ice water!

Bring her! The spouses/companions generally have a great time - and those who are not NSX-obsessed (like many of us are) have a certain camaraderie in commiserating together. :)

Yes, the prices for the social part of the event (over the weekend) are per person. And the prices for the track event are per driver, although I'm guessing she might not be interested in that, based on your description.

I guess we're all excited to come to NC. We had the cars together Scott's HNA Automotive (Scott is coming with us) for a group service and to plan the route. Only two weeks left until our 1st NSXPO. In the first pic is my Imola, on the lift, has 65K miles. Red-nsx's Imola with less than 10K is in the foreground. We are going to put some miles on that puppy. Brettowen's awesome Red 91 is to the left. We're looking forward to the trip.

Wow, what a beautiful sight. They will look good together with the 106 NSX's parked together at the Hilton.

thank goodness you won't be coming Ed.....imagine the conundrum of the judges....bee or plastidip.

First XPO for me, even though I've owned the car for 6 years. My wife will be attending with me and has some questions about attire for the social events, particularly the banquets. I looked through photos from previous NSXPOs and it appears that business casual is the norm. Correct? Any advice from the ladies attending would be appreciated. It'll help when it comes time to pack next week. Thanks!

It really runs the gamut...all depends on your wifes personality, and tastes.
