Petersen Auto Museum in Los Angeles?

Anyone been there? Do you recommend it?

Is the "Vault" worth the extra money? The tickets for regular admission are pretty cheap at $12, but the vault is an extra $25 per person.

What can I expect to see in there?

Been there. Definetly worth the $12. Never got to see the vault but they do have a revolving collection of Classics that are spectacular.

Went there a long time ago. It is where I saw and fell in love with my favoritest car ever; the 1939 Delahaye Type 165. Haven't been to the Vault, but given the pics I've seen online, I might be tempted to check it out if I were to be in the neighborhood.
