I initially posted this thread on the Cars & Coffee website and decided to include it here. While there are many different cars included, you will find a few NSXs including mine sprinkled throughout.

What better way to start a long weekend (taking a vacation day on Monday) then by making a visit to C&C. I spoke with John Clinard and asked him about rumors Ford was moving out of the building. John, who works for Ford and organizes this awesome unsanctioned car meet, explained that the move already took place. Ford sold the building to Taco Bell but leases one floor. So, C&C is safe and will continue at this great location. Whew!

Some of the notables this day was the following:

=> The weather- soft fog that lifted, formed again, then lifted once more

=> A large showing of the new Camaro with some nicely modded ones

=> An even larger showing of Supras. These guys are hard core as they arrived from an earlier run through Chino Hills. You guys rock!

=> A nice number of Ford GTs (new model and GT40 kit cars). This is pretty much a typical showing for this event. Can't get enough of that car!

=> Other car groupings such as the Austin Healey guys staged in the corral, lots of Vettes, P-cars, etc.

=> An amazing 1970 Porsche 917. This incredible street legal race car is powered by a 2.4L engine putting out around 200HP in a car that weighs only 1500 lbs. Thanks to the owner (forgot his name) for bringing what I consider the car of the day.

=> A spectator walking his pet wolf. Now I've seen everything!

...and, of course, my pics. Until next time. Ciao! Steve "YellowHaze"

Thanks for posting...great pics !!! (Although I wish you would have taken some of the Avanti parked in the Mercedes row !!!)

It was fog.

That gray NSX had a crazy custom turbo set up. Pretty clean car

Wow... what a collection.
I think the Wolf got more attention than the cars.

is it just me or does this guy look like he just turned 18?

Can someone PM or post the details to this event, Ill be in LA from Nov 10-17 and would love to attend. Also how far is it from Hollywood?

You're welcome to those who appreciated this thread. In response to the prior to posts...

Yes, the guy driving the R8 was young. More than 18, but no older than 25. Hey, this is So Cal. God knows where some get their money.

To "The Kid", Cars & Coffee occurs every Saturday from 7-9AM at the following location: 7905 Gateway Blvd, Irvine, CA. This is the location of the former Ford Divisional HQ now owned by Taco Bell. Ford currently rents one floor. Here is a link to a map:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sou...67,-117.749276&spn=0.016682,0.043774&t=h&z=15

The show lot is in the north portion of the parking lot. Spectators park in the south lot. Get there no later than 7:30 AM for seeing the most cars. Some begin to leave by 8 AM.

great pics! anymore of the black Maserati GranTurismo? would like to see a better pic with the wheels!

Sorry, that's the only pic I took. When cars are parked side-by-side, that's pretty much the best shot you can take. Those wheels must be at least 20". I don't particularly like black cars, but this one is an exception.

Great pics thanks for sharing!

I attended this event about 4 months back when I was in the LA area and wish I could relocate out to sunny southern california!

God how I love it out there, and the amazing cars in the area!
