I can't stay away from these damn cars. I keep straying, then coming back. I think my new NSX is a keeper.

MY FIRST NSX: 1998 Black/Tan

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25434

HREs, Tubi exhaust, Comptech intake, WW kit, JIC coilovers.

kept it for about 6 months, and sold it because I was convinced I wanted to get an E46 M3. Test drove some M3s, then decided I needed to get back into an NSX

MY SECOND NSX: 1998 White/Black

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49476

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65915

HREs, Taitec exhaust, Dali coilovers, Comptech intake, Shine front bumper, Vinny's side skirts, recovered leather seats, 2002 rear valance

Kept it for about two years, then decided to sell it for a Porsche 911 Turbo. Got the Porsche, drove it for about 6 months, then decided I needed to get back into an NSX.

MY THIRD NSX: 1999 Silver/Black

http://www.nsxprime.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=2052&limit=views

Bought the car from DONWON. I put less than 100 miles on the car, before a mechanic who installed a clutch and timing belt in the car took it for a "test drive" and totaled the car.

Decided I needed another NSX.

MY FOURTH NSX: 2004 Silver/Black

Damn thats beautiful. I feel you about needing to come back. I miss mine a lot.

Wow, that was some quick modding. I guess you're a pro at it now.

Actually, when my mechanic totaled NSX #3, the insurance company refused to pay me for any of the mods. So I negotiated with them, and they allowed me to take off all the mods as long as I replaced them with stock parts. I pretty much transferred all the mods from NSX #3 to NSX #4.

Your car looked good charley! Glad to see the rims worked out as well. After seeing your car on sun, i keep going back and forth b/t doing a r-hood/lip/stacy ss. i think those work very well together and def enhance the stock lines a bit more w/o being too over the top. i tend to keep my cars exterior OEM-like (no kits, etc), but its getting hard to resist.

now def pls keep this one

Crap. Was this posted on prime a while ago?

Yes, as soon as I bought the car from DONWON, I took it to a local shop to get the clutch and timing belt replaced. I had put less than 100 miles on the car. The mechanic messed up installing the timing belt, and because the car had a high boost CTSC, blew out the pistons. He agreed to fix it at his own cost. It took him almost 5 months to have new forged pistons built, but he finally got it fixed. So after a long 5 months, he called me to come pick up the car. I told him I was busy, and that I would come the next day. The next morning, he called me and said he had bad news. He says he took the car for a "test drive," and crashed it. He claims his wife was in the car, so I think it was more of a "joy ride" than a "test drive."

Do not ever take your car to LUCAS PERFORMANCE in Columbia, MD!

nice car!
couple questions
what wheels are those?
what did you do about installing the DVD in Dash?
did you buy a bracket kit somewhere? or have someone cut out the dash?

Now that is a real man's NSX.

Now you are part of the elite silverstone crew!!! DON sold his car, man i haven't spoken to him in a while. Good luck with the purchase, looks good.
