Picture Thread: 10th Annual CalCoastal NSX Canyon Drive

This being my tenth year driving through the Southern California mountains with fellow NSXers, I was wondering how the organizers were going to keep the CalCoastal NSX Drive fresh and exciting. Well, they certainly topped themselves by adding a karting event to the agenda. Props to John (ANYTIME) and Scott (ss_md) and everyone else associated with this year's Drive for the time and effort put into it. We all had a ridiculously great time. And how did you guys possibly manage to hold off the rain until the Drive was over?

So, with all of those NSXs out there and all of those cameras too, let's see those pics!!!

I'll get it started.


No large early AM caravan planned, so every man for himself getting to the meeting point in Sunland, CA. I run into X-Toy.

We make a bee-line for the karting facility at Pole Position in Corona, CA, about an hour away. Time to get a few more rolling shots...

The entire Drive group gets to Pole Position a bit late, but we're still able to get in a number of karting laps during the enduro. In fact, each karting team of three people was able to get almost an hour of competitive driving time. Sadly, Conrad's team did not place.

But we all were happy as we finished of the exciting day with pizza, cake, and a raffle with prizes from Science of Speed and DEKA (and even Oakley).

Definitely a great pic of you and your car, had to have the plate down so the cops wouldn't come out for you though. :tongue:

I can only imagine what could have happened if my hydraulics were not on "full" lift. Also...did you PS this? My car looks A LOT cleaner than it was :tongue:
