Please recommend movies with great/clever twist...

No one mentions 'Unbreakable' or 'Donnie Darko'(original cut) Or 'Cypher' with lucy lui, 12 monkeys, or the ultimate, 'DARK CITY'!

It's interesting how many of us have similar tastes!

My choices would be:

- Memento
- Old Boy (I love that movie but it is so difficult to sit through after the first time round!)
- Dark City - action oriented but excellent!
- Lucky Number Slevin - fun but formulaic
- The Matador - Pierce Brosnan at his finest

Mr Brooks
Illusionist
Prestige
Inside Man
Lucky Number Slevin
Planet of the Apes (original)

Those are probably my favourites

To an extent Oceans 11,12, 13

I always love movie with a great twist at/towards the end that forces me to focus and think through it the whole time. I enjoy them more than just an average action flick…

Do you have any good ones you can recommend? PLEASE NO SPOILER!!!

Yeah, but if you know there is a great/clever twist coming up at the end isn't that kind of a spoiler in itself?

The Life Before Her Eyes - has a great twist.
Mr. Brooks - is real good, not sure if its twisty though.
Trev

CONFIDENCE. This movie was all pretty much based on twists, zigs and zags.

Ocean's 11, the Clooney version. Pretty much the only good Oceans movie.

remember to keep it to movies with twists..

and to those you said The village is worth watching can send me $7 each. I was laughing with my brothers watching that movie and we knew what was coming pretty much before hand, it also was NOTHING like it was advertised about..being scary and such. BS.

I recommend SEVEN for a nice twist and good ol' Donny Darko.

Inside Man
Donnie Darko
Lucky Number Sleven
A Beautiful Mind

Ton's of others, will have to edit my post when I think of more.

Best Brad Pitt movie, ever. Hands down.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire, when the Tri-wizard tournament cup turns out to be a portk ... uh ... um ... that is ... uh ...
Fightclub! Yeah, that's it -- fightclub!

Usual suspects.
The Game.
The prestige.
A Perfect Murder.
Scent of a Woman.

All awesome.

I watched The Machinist last night. Very good movie. Strange and twisty. Kept my attention throughout the entire movie.

Has anyone seen this movie?

I also just watched The Bridge, not bad.

Matchstick Men

Argh - you beat me to it. I saw that in part at the hotel the other night (I'd seen it before). A few others:

Anti-Trust (you never know who's doing what)
The Whole Nine Yards (absolutely hilarious but an interesting finish)
The Constant Gardener (I love how he "loses" and yet "wins" at the end)
