Question: SOS oem stereo to aftermarket wire harness

Sorry i searched the sos site and prime but could not find out if the RCA jacks that come out of the SOS wire harness on the OEM stereo to aftermarket amp are male or female RCA.

Common sense says they should be female so they will not short the outputs if they are unplugged and touch something. Looking at the picture I don't see any male part sticking out either.

Bingo - you guys are right. I just got them and installed the harness it is indeed female RCA jacks. One thing to note is that under all that electrical tape in the center of the wires the Right and left rear speaker wires + and - are severed and disconnected on purpose. So if you try to tap one of them to connect to the wires in the rest of the car you need to tap the end furthest away from the stereo

The female ends also make it easy to just connect a standard pair of RCA cables (male at each end) and run them to the new amp.
