Yes i know this is covered in the search/faq and the rear is already finished and swaped with 02 r shocks/springs.

The problem with the front is its stuck and the three nuts arnt on but the center top rod wont clear and the top hat wont line back up with holes to put the nuts back on so we can focus on the bottom.

Any tips in getting back to mount the top hat or to getting the front shocks out in the general, the crappy autozone spring compressors are hard to use sence there so long.

Thanks for the help

Have you tried the 2x4 method? Also, don't forget to unbolt the swaybar endlink so the lower control arm can pivot downwards easier.

It's a specific dis-assembly process that requires removing:
A. the brake-line mounting bracket bolt from the brake-line mounting bracket and sliding the mounting bracket up and out of the way of the suspension components.
B. the wheel-speed sensor lines and mounting hardware from the lower A-arm

The front wheel must be free to turn from left to right as needed.

Also, the 2X4 method is still needed, although less so than for the rear.
