Most footage is in English, but it would be nice to have subtitles for some scenes. Knowing Spanish, I can understand some of the Portuguese dialogue.

If you don't mind not watching the races live, then sure, go for it. Save yourself some money. Just gotta have a good source of where to download stuff from.

So I've been downloading the 8.1GB BR Rip 720P version of Senna since mid-day yesterday. Still have 50% left. Thanks for the subtitles.

All that means is they ripped the digital version from a Blu-Ray disc. I use VLC to play all my media. Download the english subs, there is an options in VLC to load them.
If using VLC, click Video > Subtitle tracks > Open File....locate the file and it automatically begins working.How do you use the subtitles? Is there a way to combine it with the rip?

Nope, its still in limited release right now. You'll have to wait a while before it hits Blu-Ray, no dates set.

I play all my video files on the big plasma with the Western Digital USB2.0 WD TV Live Plus HD Media Player. it plays pretty much everything including mkv files and will even combine subtitle files along with the original source video. you can even adjust the font size customize the border width on the fonts!
