Reality check - if you are watching a race and observe a car crash that costs at least ten times what the two above cars are worth, do you mourn?

I don't know where you got the impression that money had anything to do with how I feel about a car? If that were the case, I would be on the Fcar forums instead of here.

Obviously not all of us feel the same way about the NSX...let's just leave it at that.

Maybe mourning over metal is the wrong way to look at it.
I think we are all disappointed to see a wonderful car trashed.
It seems such a waste but is part of life.
This in noway deters from lose of life.
I was on a VFD for 24 years and dealt with many such scenes.
We all feel sad for an irreplacable life being lost.
Second note: don't believe everything you read. I worked too many scenes and when the paper wrote about it the next day you had to wonder if it was the one you were on.
Many times no reporter makes the accident scene so they imbelish on the story. Also makes better reading they say.?
I wouldn't hold the judges comments to tightly. JMO
