My guess Owner A was paid for the job. Owner A sold the business to Owner B. Owner B did some work on GregZ's NSX until he realized he wasn't getting paid for the job, which was already paid for. He was expecting pay but didn't realize Owner A had already received payment for the whole job. Contract probably didn't state this and now he won't give the car back because he won't be paid for his service. Possible solution Owner A will give some cash from GregZ payment to Owner B to allow for the release of the car.
