Anybody ever heard of a smoking catalytic converter? After a drive I had smoke coming out of my vent in front of the trunk. At first I thought it was oil from the valve cover dripping on the exhaust but its not. When I jacked the car it looked like the smoke was coming from the lower converter??? No oil on it or anything..... just smoke. Maybe degreaser caught in the clam shell around the converter from cleaning?? Any ideas?

Funny you say that because I just got my engine rebuilt and it too was blowing oil out of the cam covers but I was told by the tech that apparently oil also got trapped in cat????
