I'm thinkin' of replacing all the Bose stuff with aftermarket. What's everyone using in the doors? What's everyone using in place of the old sub?

Make and model would be great! Not to mention how you like it!

Just search on "stereo" in this forum. You will get 11 answers, with 2 specifically aimed at aftermarket stereo, with pointers to other references. As a general rule, the head unit is generally the last thing to replace. The Bose amplifier/speaker combos generally give the problems. Other forums may have additional references.

Infinity Perfect 6.1 in the doors. Have a Perfect 10.1 in the footwell as a sub but it is taking up too much foot room. Looking at using an Image Dynamics, possibly in the footwell or behind the seats. Will also use multiple small drivers vs a single large one.

What size are the door speakers? How did you mount them?
