what size tires 17/18

It's different on a stock suspension. The wheels stick out more. As you drop they tuck in. You can't run a 235. Not just because it will rub with liners but that is also a little too wide for a 7.5" wheel. You can use spacers. Buy it may have a more convex face because of the more conservative ET's.

I think on an oem car that is fine. You can see it fits well. But as you start to drop, you realize it doesn't look quite right. Spacers are always available but on a lot of wheels, that comes at the expense of a concave face. Instead of the spoke curving in more, you simply have a higher back pad.

Ok thanks I have a message to change to the 17x8 et35. I believe at some point I will be on coilovers so I will make it work. I will run the 18/19s till I figure it all out

You'll need a rear spacer to balance it out. What are the offsets on the 18x10.5?

I went with 17x7.5 fronts et45 and 18x9.5 et40
Kevin

If you went with the TSW Interlagos, I think that's a good size selection. I have TSW Nurburgring wheels in those exact sizes and offsets. They are similar in construction and probably spoke clearance. I can clear Brembo BBK (with a 3mm spacer) and Stop-Techs with a 5mm spacer in front. I don't think they look too sunk in either. I have a 94 and the TSW wheels stick out 16mm more than stock in the front and 33mm more than stock in the rear. As you said, you can add spacers if you like. I like the look of mine without spacers. I'm lowered maybe 1.25~1.5". I don't have a photo showing the rear handy, but this is the front without spacers:

Thanks NSX I did go with the Rotary forged Interlagos
From using the calculator I think I will be good to go and have a similar stance as whats on it.
I am keeping the 45 can always use a 5mm spacer

You can probably go 10.5 rear if the offsets aren't lower than mid to low 30's.

Turbo 9.5 is the widest they offer, I am going with 275 as .1 is not much more for the rear fender tire clearance
FYI the color code on the car is Sebring the previous owner had it painted a shade darker than Kaiser. I will have it repainted. Although not being original, its a great color. I had the owner measure for me and he said it is 4" clearance.
I want to add this lip will it be the same height or too low? I photo shopped the wheels for reference

Any reason not to use the 275?

The handling will be slightly better with 255/35-18 or 265/35-18 rear. Once your stagger (difference in treadwidth, front vs rear) gets up to 60 (which it would with 215 and 275), the handling just isn't quite as crisp.

NSX thanks will do 265 as I am trying to get close to my current tire setup for the same stance.

NSX you are correct sir, typo on my part but the calculations were based on the 30.

Very happy with black interlagos. Since I am having a BBK developed might need to use a spacer up front. Will get pics of them installed soon.
Great weight based on specs, have not weighed them yet.
rim/tire fronts 36.85 each fronts
rears 45.9 each rear
