The site goes up and down several times a day. Just got a 502 bad gateway error. Wait, wait, wait - back up again. And Taptalk doesn't work as noted in a different thread. WTH is going on???

Maybe time to move to a different hosting service.

Same here. I've had a few times where I repeatedly couldn't log in as well, I don't think I fat fingered my login 5 times in a row.

same issues, site up and down. log in to reply to a thread, type my reply, hit 'preview', asks me to log in again. get back to the reply, hit submit, rinse, repeat.

I've had the same issue for over a week. Sometimes I can open the web site, sometimes I get an error code. All other web sites open fine.
Is anyone working on this problem?

I am aware of and have been working on this issue for the past week. Server load is much than higher than normal, but it doesn't look like a classic script exploit attempt or DDoS attack. No hardware or software changed to my knowledge leading up to the server load increase. Legitimate site traffic seems unchanged as well.

I have Cloudflare checking traffic but that (1) doesn't totally resolve the problem and (2) breaks Tapatalk and other third-party sites/services making server requests (3) is kind of annoying at best with the "please wait while we verify your browser" screens.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will continue to work on getting it fixed.

Good news, I think the problem is finally resolved. There was an obsolete / orphaned php module throwing errors and eating up massive amounts of system memory.
