Will these wheels fit?

I came across a set of wheels that are 18x8.5 +35 fts and 18x9.5 +35 rr. Will the fronts be a problem, as they are 8.5? How flush do you think they will be? Sorry for the questions, but i am not very wheel spec savy.

Thanks,
Jay

18x8.5 35mm offset with a 225 35 18.
Also ran 215 35 18 on them after that.

I had zero rub, and my car was dropped probably atleast 3" at the time on my Tein RA's.

I've also ran 18x8.5 40mm with a 215 35 18 and 225 35 18 on the same set.

After doing some research, i think i found my answer!

If you were to machine the fronts to +40 or 42, you could do it as long as you don't mind the stretch (215/35/18 on a 8.5" rim is quite maxxed out)

18x8.5 is approved for 215/35-18 mounting, but it's the upper end of the range, so it will look slightly stretched. If you don't want that look, you may be better off with 18x8 or 18x7.5.

Ken, a 215/35/18 is certainly approved and I have done it, it is WAY stretched though - depending on which 215 you use.

I cannot think of a 215/35 that would only be slightly stretched, it looked so stretched when I did it that people asked if it was safe.

Even a 235/30/18 looks stretched on my truck's 8.5 wheels.

215 35 18 Falken FK452 on my front 18x8.5 weren't THAT stretched... May have been the rim type as well because it had a thicker lip but they did fit and I had zero rub.

I also ran 225 35 18 on the 18x8.5 up front and didn't run into rubbing issues with the liner's modified.

My 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 setup actually looked quite nice on the car when I ran them about 5-6yrs ago. I'll try to find a pic.

I like those wheels , thought about them once - I guess we all have our idea of how stretched "stretched" is...
