List is cleared, I spent my weekend building all those kits
Instructions will be ready and put online this weekend before anyone gets its set!
I have now 1 week to work on that:wink:
Thank you all!
Hugo

That pop sound must be some teeth on the mechanism jumping ahead due to excessive drag... it should solve it, but when you install this kit, you need to inspect if there is any other damage other than what Hugo describes in his DIY thread

My driver side also make a loud pop sound when i put the window down...does it fix that as well?

I'll take a set

Cool, thanks for the info...

Honda issued a technical service bulletin regarding that. Have a look here: http://www.nsxprime.com/wiki/TSB_93-004

If you're lucky, greasing the white plastic spool will do the trick. In my case, I wasn't so lucky. During assembly, the different parts of the plastic spool click together with locking tabs. The tabs wouldn't hold my spool together anymore so it just fell apart.

Brooklynzson, NSX2398 and Acura NsX Pilot: you have PM!

Brooklynzson/greenberet: Honda technical service bulletin says basically: if it "pops" replace the whole regulator by a new one:biggrin:

The kit won't solve this "problem", it only restores the original speed of the motor (by sleeving its worn axle) and then increases it over OEM with the use of a pulley that eliminates the major cable drag coming from a fixed 180º plastic guide.

For the popping sound problem perhaps you should try a nylon based grease before replacing the whole regulator:wink:

I believe the service bulletin advises Honda/Acura dealerships to apply high temp urea grease to the white plastic spool if a customer comes in with a window that makes popping noises. In addition, if it turns out that the regulator is the older style that only supports the cable holder with tabs on two sides, the dealership should try to replace the regulator at no cost to the customer with a newer style regulator that supports the cable holder on all four sides.
