    Alternator belt alignment

    There is a spec 12-14mm deflection(@middle of belt between alt. & pulley)with 22ft/lbs of force best thing is to feel the belt before you remove the alt. and tighten to same you should not have to mark postion because you will be able to see where the postion was ------------------

    you use compressed air to install the dust boot push the piston down on the boot,put a little(not much)air into the hose port and the boot pops over the piston,it works great
