    Comtech vrs. GroupM supercharger

I would take the Comptech because of the very clean looking install and that Doug Hayashi uses one without problems in his race car.

Proper Maintanence of Telescopic Antenna Mast?

I use BlueMagic Metal Polish on the mast and dirt doesn't get a chance to stick because it's very slick after the Polishing.

    New NSX update

August 2000 Road and Track states that an all new model is awhile off maybe in 2004, but a dramatically face-lifted version (code name ZS) should make its appearance sometime next year. If anyone has additional info about the ZS model please post.

TCS: Cool Safety Feature or Dangerous Gizmo?

On the street the TCS is a good thing to have on since you never know what will pop out in front of you around the next corner(deer, SUV). On the track its better to have it turned off so that you can learn car control, the handling limits of the car and how it behaves at those limits.

    Kill Count

I was talking about real world 0-60, not what the magazine editors do. Do you rev your engine to 7000rpm or so and dump the clutch like they do to get those numbers, probably not. So now rev both engines to a grand or two which is typical for street light racing and see which one has the advantage.

    Pirelli P7000 Supersport

They have a wear rating of 320 so there a very hard compound, I wouldn't put them on an NSX. One of my Audi friends has them on his Quattro and likes them, but on an NSX the tail can be real loose with tires that hard.

    Inevitable Question

Can someone explain for me how in this country the Police is hand in hand with the Insurance companies. Why is it that by getting a ticket it should effect insurance premiums. It seems like some kind of legal mafia, are the Police or the State getting kick-backs from the Insurance companies. I...

    NSX

I drove an NSX with heavy aftermarket wheels before I purchased my light forged wheels, and I can tell you I felt a difference in acceleration. The car felt sluggish off the line and over bumps it didn't feel as composed, for performance I do not recommend heavy wheels. Correct me if im wrong...

    Kill Count

In real world driving an M3 should be faster off the line then a 5-speed NSX because of the M3's fatter tourqe curve. Just like in the real world a S2000 will never get a 0-60 of 5.4 sec (or whatever it does I'm not quite sure), Unless you beat the crap out of it which most of us will not do off...

    Strange response from Civic Owner

I sometimes get idiots in there Civics hanging on my ass around town thinking there cars are fast, with wheels that are worth more then there cars. Integra owners seem more normal. Civic owners have a brain disorder, I think its because there cars are at the bottom of the food chain econoboxes...

    Trade in Civic for NSX?

A NSX is a cheap car to maintain compared to other comparible cars. I mean its an $80K car you can't expect to pay the same for maintience as for a $20K car. My Porsche cost me $1300 bucks just for the water pump and pulleys, Clutch $1800, and numerous other things that needed servicing and...

    Engine blipping during down shifting...

I always blip the throttle and heal and toe for smoother downshifts and because it sounds really cool. Heal and toe downshifts are a big plus especially at high RPMs, alot of time can be made up on the track and also its less wear and tear on the clutch and gearbox, on the street or track other...

    STOCK VS. MODIFIED

I'm not sure about perfect, but close to it from the factory. If it was perfect then the factory would not have made a Zinardi edition that everyone raved about and said it was as close to a Champ car as it gets, or the NSX TypeR or TypeS for the Japanese market. Modifications have to be well...
