Zaino and wax not the normal question

From www.zainobros.com "Z-2 polish is a true paint protectant designed to replace traditional waxes. It will give your paint finish total environmental protection and is the only protectant you will ever need. It will offer more protection than any wax in the industry.... You will see...

    Ermm...

Also 1270 produced in '92 with only 338 produced in '97. The more limited production may help keep the price for used NSX's higher. Operative word - may. Much depends on the next model and/or the interest of people wanting NSX's. Impossible to predict. But every year there are fewer NSX's...

    why no kill section?

Street racing is also deadly - to innocent people as well as your self and the other idiot , er driver. A 'Kill' section only encourages others to engage in this dangerous, idiotic pastime. The NSX was designed with F1 cars as the inspiration, not NASCAR or NHRA. Take it to the track or...

More new nsx pics for your viewing pleasure

That is the same cupholder as in my 2000. It is ABSOLUTELY worthless unless you are standing still. If you are actually in motion it will not hold ANYTHING securely. It is also in an extremely awkward location. ------------------ BobsYT 2000 Red/Black #81

Handling not as good as I expected!

Mea Culpa.... NSXTASY is, as usual, correct. I was thinking of OEM sizes for 16/17 setup. Ooops. ------------------ BobsYT 2000 Red/Black #81

Handling not as good as I expected!

with 225/50 rear tyres NOT OEM tires!! I would hazard to guess because of the unusual narrow sizing on the rear that very low end/low performance/low priced tires were used. Put on OEM Yoko's or Toyo Proxes or Bridgstone So3's, have the alignment done by somebody who knows NSX's and you will...

Question For Those who Drive in the Rain..

I live in South Florida where it rains almost all summer - seems like it anyway. I switched to TOYO Proxes T1S and have been extremely happy with them. I lost a little bit of dry traction compared to the OEM Yoko's but the wet traction is much, much better. The car also tracks straight over...

    NSX to NSXTarga?

Personally, I think it would be a crying shame to 'butcher' a beautiful piece of rolling artwork like the NSX - especially a 'mint' low-mileage one. This is not something that is reversible or repairable. The only benefit would be that everyone who does something like that - chopped up...

    tire size

I am currently running 225/45/16 with 265/40/17 Toyo's on my 2000 OEM rims. The 265's fit perfectly and I believe the rims could handle 275's but no larger. 225/50's are WAY to large in diameter for the front and potentially could cause TCS prob's. AS far as acceleration - slower. 0-60 times...

    Yoko OEM tire treadwear

The car is set up from the factory with toe-out in front and toe-in in rear. Yes, it causes 'excssive' tire wear but by changing from the factory specs you change the handling characteristics of the car. If tire wear and not performance is what you want, by all means change the alignment and put...

    Need NSX info! more...

Make sure to get the used NSX checked by a competent mechanic before you buy. Also, run a report at www.carfax.com ( a member with an account here could possibly provide this info) to make sure it is not a 'salvage' job. If you need help, there are many members here in Florida that would be glad...
