So I ended up going with just some Bilstine shocks for right now. They don't seem to have affected the ride on the street very much, and I think they might have helped my understeer. I've had them on the track and understeer was pretty controllable via throttle. I'll probably get a better feel...

I bought my 91 2 years ago from a friend for $25k. Granted, he was somewhat pressed to sell it since he was moving to NZ. Also, I had to replace the trans due to snap ring failure in less than 10k miles, which cost me about $10k.

First, sorry if this isn't the right forum... I didn't see anything dedicated to suspension/handling. I've read through the FAQ, but it seems kind of out of date (most of the comments are from 1998). My 91 has 130k miles, and AFAIK the suspension is all what came on the car. I'm leaning towards...

Any idea what 194F equates to on the coolant guage? I've seen mine run before but very rarely. I'm somewhat concerned because there's sometimes a faint burning rubber smell when I stop.

Damn, I've never heard of a timing chain breaking. How many miles? That's why my `78 Cougar now has a double-roller. Next time I rebuild it I might well just put a gear set on it.

I just talked to the dealer that did the recent 90k service, and he said that there wasn't really a time constraint on the timing belt, it was more about milage. He also said...

I just got a '91 2 weeks ago. I'd love to go to NSXPO this year, but the problem is the car's 14 years old, almost at 90k, and AFAIK has never had the timing belt replaced. Being a V8 kinda guy, the whole timing belt thing kinda freaks me out, and I'm paranoid that I'm taking a big risk driving...
