Why my NSX went and Viper stayed

whats up Snakey, remember me? I am sorry you had to make that decision. I hope to own an NSX one day, and hope to never have to choose between my C6 Z06 and the NSX. They are two different experiences. But I will say, I bought the C6 Z06 before the NSX because it is unmatched at its...

    still love my nsx, but............

I would use the term 'destroy' when referring to a straight line, not a track. I can quote articles and times too: http://www.caranddriver.com/features/10q4/lightning_lap_2011-feature/track_map_3a_vir_track_map_and_lightning_lap_2011_sector_times_page_7 That was not the point of my post...

    still love my nsx, but............

Different cars do different things well. A 1/4 drag is not really what any true sports car is setup for. It can be fun to take the car to see what it can do in a straight line, and what you can do as far as launching it, but that is about it. I really would not put too much stock in 1/4 mile...

NSX parked next to a ________ thread for size comparos

Thanks! I actually have a truck for when it rains and I need to get stuff done. I drive the Z06 about half the time though. My friend with the NSX and I will take some pictures this weekend for you. base C6 = 72.6 inches wide C6 Z06/ZR1 = 75.9 inches wide C6 is the latest model. There is a...

NSX parked next to a ________ thread for size comparos

you forgot one of your peers in that list  C6 Z06 = 75.9 inches wide yes, it's wider than a Gallardo and over 4 inches wider than an NSX. Come's stock with 325/30/19's in the rear. Got to have some meaty tires to put down 500+hp!

    still love my nsx, but............

FWIW I own a C6 Z06 that currently has 43k miles on the clock. I bought it 6 months ago, and have driven it 3k miles over that time. I have loved every mile of that too. I do not plan to get rid of it anytime soon. I LOVE the 7.0 LS7. Its a light fun car to drive, and has no interior rattles at...

NSX to Z06, A Long Comparison

How many C6 Z06's were there? C5 Z06's still weren't different enough from the base vette IMO. The C6 Z06 is a much rarer car than given credit for.

    1997 ctsc nsx-t vs. Porsche 996 gt2

The CGT's in the video above are SICK  Love those things. To NSXRguy, go with what moves you! You know the right decision deep down.

NSX to Z06, A Long Comparison

The guy I bought it from has this up on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaRAQEwTPZg C6 Z06's have baffles in the rear of the exhaust that open at 3.5K rpm. A popular mod, which I have done, is to hook those baffles up to a switch to be able to open and close them at will. That video...

NSX to Z06, A Long Comparison

The performance and exterior are tops on the C6 Z06, IMO. That is why I purchased it. I absolutely love the exterior, wide stance, low sweeping roof line and functional brake vents in the front and rear. The dry sump 427 LS7 and aluminum frame pushed me over the edge. I'll do a few interior mods...
