I haven't looked at my spare for some time and I took it out tonight. According to the manual it had been mounted in the correct position, with the painted side pointing to the rear of the car, but the mounting bracket has really rubbed of a lot of the paint off the wheel. It's no big deal but...

#00 was at the recent Orange County Car Show.

Just looked at the FAQ's and the VIN number on the car at the auto show was #127 so that is definitely the press car....

I too saw the Zanardi sitting in the corner unattended, all alone. And as you say it was totally unlocked. It is indeed an authentic Zanardi, and the "00" number on the plaque may indicate it was a press car. It is lo mileage but the paint is in very sad condition. Terribly scratched up. Also...

Your right, that's the understatement of the decade. Not only crazy for street racing but crazy for taking on a 430. I would think this would be an easy ticket to bet, since it's not even a race.....

I had short gears and the 4.23 in my 93 and now have the 6 spd with the Comptech 4.55 in the 99. Both set-ups are great and neither suffered from any whine, other than normal gear noises. At highway speeds with the windows up it sounds like a regular Honda to me...
