Since my town's member list is me and the fact that it's a geographical oddity, I could claim Houston, San Antonio, Austin or Corpus. I'm 1.5 hours from everywhere.
I'm not too far away and I'm always up there visiting my sister. I plan to be up there 3/7 weekend for a day or two at the Pirelli World Challenge at COTA.
Not sure about shops or roads but http://www.mzmperformance.com/ treated me very well on my WRX upgrades.
I may just show up on Saturday and will shoot you an email if I do. I will be in Austin that weekend but with it being a month away, who knows what could come up.
I recently had SOS headers and their Endura Lite put on my '91. No complaints whatsoever and fitment was perfect. Love the sound and will probably do test pipes real soon.
Thanks. I'll also add that parking isn't super cheap either at the track but it's convenient and offsite parking with shuttles is organized pretty well. Plan to stick around after the race or bolt for your car to escape the traffic nightmare. They have a free concert at the amphitheater after...
Been to two of the three and have purchased tickets with a seat each time. Turn 12 grandstands (great location, horrible aluminum bleacher seats looking into the sun most of the day) and turn 15 premium grandstands. (also great location with better seats and air conditioned restrooms vs. porta...
You definitely have to pick and choose in there. Not all their stuff is all that great but for one time or low use things, they are hard to beat.
I'd also like to add that with this bottle full and hanging straight up and down, sometimes it doesn't want to let the fluid drain as fast as it...
Just did my clutch master and slave cylinders and thought I'd pass this along to the lone wrenchers like myself. I picked this up at Harbor Freight ( http://www.harborfreight.com/brake-fluid-bleeder-92924.html ) and was very pleased.
I only used the bottle on the left that supplies the fluid...
I just completed all of mine on my '91 except for at the oil cooler. Those are coming this week along with an oil change.
I bought those same pliers at Sears and in my opinion are worth their weight in gold. Get them. A good pick set works wonders for pulling up the old hoses to slice 'em with...
I'll give a shout when up that way as my sister lives there and I'm always around there. I have my doors all apart for window regulator preventative maintenance and waiting for my coolant hoses from SOS. Once done I'll be in the wind.
