The compressor on my 91 seized yesterday. The belt made a squealing sound and I immediately shut off the A/C but from what I have read it sounds like the entire system will need to be cleaned. I have read some information about flushing the system and installing a new compressor, dryer and one...
No this would not be related. The rubber gromet is just a stop so when the pedel return to the idle position it has something to rest on. It could be someone put a stronger spring somewhere on the throttle linkage to stop this problem?? It sound like that or he needs to lube the cable.
The first thing I checked out was I had some one inside the care move the throttle and check to make sure the cable was not binding at the thottle body which it was not. then I checked down at the pedal itself and there is a rubber stop that sits on top of an adjuster. I removed the rubber...
They are 18x9.5 and 17x8 and the stock lug nuts do tighten all the way down on the wheel but I am concerned with where the lug contacts the wheel. The stock nuts have a round contact area rather than a flat cone /\. thanks
Does anyone know if you need the cone type aftermarket lug nuts. Or can you use the orignal lug nuts which are not the cone type and have a radius in the seat area.
Thanks
I was wondering if any one has an idea what this noise could be. At low speed when disengaging or engaging the clutch I get a clunking noise in 1st or second gear. It only happens at low speed when the engine is near idle. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
No it does it when it is warmed up. Thats what I thought at first I thought something was wrong with the computer. I have an RM exhaust so I reset the computer and it did the same thing thats when I pulled back on the pedal and it returned to normal.
Thanks
Sometimes when I let of the throttle it does not return all the way down to idle. It stays up around 1500 rpms. When it does it I can lift the throttle with my toe and it returns to idle. Any idea's what could be wrong. A weak spring or something.
