Bob,
I'm glad you're enjoying my old NSX. It was a fantastic car for me, and although I have owned 108 cars over the years, the one that stayed with me for so many years was the NSX that you bought from me. I am so glad the car went to a good home with someone who will cherish it and take care...
I have personally restored 26 mid years Corvettes I've owned to NCRS Top Flight / Bloomington Gold standards, and my NSX is nearly as nice as those cars.
Based on the scale provided, my car is a 1.5.
One of my best friend's brothers (who is a huge Austin Healey collector) was at the Amelia Island Concours in March. A renowned car broker he knows told him that he should purchase an NSX right now, as he felt the car was poised to appreciate dramatically in value over the next few years.
I have a staggered set of 17/18 Enkei PF01's on my car. Make sure to get the 18x9.5 rear with a 35mm offset (not the 45mm offset that's shown on the Tirerack website). I've attached a picture showing how the 35mm rear looks on my car.
I originally bought my '91 NSX in 1996, and Barney has been working on it for as long as I can remember. He will do a great job for you.
I live in Nashville, so when you're coming back to pick up your car, PM me and perhaps we can get together and go for a ride.
While my Supra is only an NA, I still love the car. It's a '95 hardtop 5 speed SE (Special Edition). I've owned it for 6 years and bought it from the original owner here in Nashville. Everywhere I go, people stop me to ask about it and are always wanting to see if I want to sell it.
