Stuntman,
Would you mind sharing a link to those parts... I'm having to do the same for center caps https://a360.co/373IXar I'm also working on a center console replacement.
Mine has been replaced once and cleaned. I suspect we are treating a symptom of too much current needed to get the starter going (pull the starter plunger in). I have added a interposing relay so the start switch now drives the coil of a high impendance relay which when closed then applies...
There are several plungers/contacts which are very similar for my 91 NSX which has a Denso 128000-7770 DR5U3 and the plunger for that is a 66-82607
It is 125mm in overall length the contact is 37mm in dia and the contact is 18mm from the end...
Don't forget to check both ends of your negative cable. I can surprised how much corrosion was once chassis end. After cleaning that and putting dielectric grease to keep it dry/clean my car starts great.
12.6 is great for a battery. 14 is when the alternator is running. I would start with inspecting the battery connections and cable ground to the chassis under the heater. I suspect when you try and start you have a high current draw. Make sure you have solid connections ie no corrosion. Then...
And this is why I love owning an Nsx. On the way to nsxpo my speedo started behaving erratic then died. Then I got a check engine light. Did I freak out? No, because we've got nsxprime. While stopped in LA traffic I was able to diagnose the issue by searching nsxprime. Called the dealer in...
Second the EGR lift potentiometer mine was bad. But only found that after replacing every other device in the EGR system.
Another item to check is the coolant temp sensor.
Also it would be good to monitor the vacuum pressure on the EGR to confirm it is active. The gear, gear ratio and wheel...
In the past and I suspect this time as well you don't have to sign up to hang around many of the events. I would not expect you would be able to attend things like the dinner, the muesum, and track. But the canyon drive or general gatherings in the parking lot or around town (palm springs is...
91 ABS Unit -SOLD
SOLD
$80 plus shipping (From San Diego) for everything in the photo attached. These spare parts are sold as is. I upgraded from this 91 ABS to the NA2 ABS. All the solenoids were functioning at the time of removal, the system was not holding pressure so it cycled often. I...
I had to remove the front beam to replace the AC compressor. What I recall learning from that experience was with the car on jack stands the front beam is put into tension ( stands to reason it's there for a purpose). Being in tension makes removal or install near impossible without stripping...
What PNs? My car is a 91 and from my searching the OEM Honda PN for the 91-93 is 46430-SL0-013 and they were discontinued
http://www.acurapartswarehouse.com/oem/acura~hose~r~rr~brake~46430-SL0-013.html
Does any one know the difference between the 91-93 and later years? Are all the years...
As I understand it for a 91 the OEM lines are no longer sold. I'm concerned about undetected and eventual failures of SS lines and don't want to be replacing the lines every year. So I'd prefer OEM hell they lasted 22 years already. So is there an OEM/rubber option since Acura discontinued...
