This is a problem that seems to be common to the Bilstein/Lower Perch/Stock Springs concept and to be honest there does not seem to be an answer. I have a phone call into CGI for some answers. One suggestion was to a make sure the bottom of the springs have the rubber casing/boot over them...
Thanks guys, I thought the top perch would actually compress the spring giving the lower effect and the instructions were in every language except English. NSX Prime is "priceless."
Which perch is used to lower car on Bilstein's (using the blue boot as the benchmark, the perch that is closer to the boot or farther away?) Thank You rjw
RJW here again, Little more help? Well after researching the lowering by spring concept I ended up at FAQ. Now I have another alternative, instead of lowering with springs it suggested to use CGI Bilstein Shocks with factory springs. Has anyone tried this? If so how is the ride and how low...
Considering lowering my NSX, is it possible to use my factory shocks (15,000 miles on them) with the comptech 1 inch drop springs? If not, what are the best shocks to maintain current comfort and handling? I love the way it rides now but I really like the look of the 1 inch drop. Thanks rjw
Hello, new NSX owner here (and very happy might I add, passed on the C6 for a 1999 Yellow/Black 15,000 miles) in any case I can not find production numbers for the year 1999. Can anyone help? Thanks rjw
