Yes i would say so. what happens is the pins on the circuit board that the plug connects to get cracked soldering. When you push on the plug, you are "wiggling" the pins in their cracked joints and making contact to complete the circuit. You can go in and resolder the pins and then not have to...

I know this is an old thread, but for anyone searching for a solution to this problem, I fixed mine. I found 4 cracked solder joints in the retractor module that mounts behind the driver seat on the firewall. Reflowed the solder and headlights havent gotten stuck up in up position since.

So I started to peel the foil off of the small upper trim around the center vent/clock din and found it was all shattered plastic underneath with only the foil holding the pieces together. Anybody got a spare? Don't need the clock. Thanks! I appreciate the messages I have received offering the...

I just removed mine and was able to remove the 4 screws with little effort by using a butane pencil torch to heat the back side of the screws about 6 seconds and using a 3/8 ratchet.

I guess for the price, it's worth a shot. Even if i have to modify them a hair, it's a lot cheaper than others.

sorry guys, i should have had this info earlier. the rear tires are 245/40/17. they were just put on last summer and have most of the tread still on them.

my bad. the wheels are stock wheels off a 2001. the previous owner put them on about 6 years ago. so i'm running staggered 16/17. would tha sill be the issue after all these years?
