One of my dome lights went out and I'm thinking about going with something other than superbrightleds. I checked the ebay link above and it doesn't work anymore. I also checked vleds and they don't carry that led anymore. I tried to get information about other bulbs listed on their website...
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll try some of these suggested trouble-shooting tasks when I can free up some time. In the meantime, based on how I describe the problem, is it a safety issue? I.e., Do I need to worry the car stalling while driving in traffic or can I assume that once it's started...
I have a '94 NSX with 100K miles and recently started experiencing this strage problem. When I start my engine, the tach shows the engine rev-ing sporactically up and down (approximately between 800-1200 RPMs, which seems like a large range). About 3 times over the last week, the car stalled...
I didn't get a chance to read this post from "clr1024" until now. However, I attempted the repair over the weekend and that's just what I did. I used a butter knife to create some space between the horn button unit and the leather of the steering wheel and then used a pair of pliers to grip...
Well, just the face of the button fell off and got lost (I think by a valet because I don't remember it happening but noticed it the day after I had valet parked somewhere in LA the night before) and Acura doesn't sell that component separately so I just bought the whole button unit (about $35)...
Thanks josh and shawn (especially shawn for posting the pics). this looks pretty fool-proof (knock on wood...haha).
I'm really excited to try this when I get home because I'm soooo tired of driving around with a spring sticking out where the horn button use to be. It doesn't really affect...
You mean just literally pull the whole button unit out from the FRONT side of the steering wheel? Can any confirm is this will work for a model that has an airbag?
shawn, thanks for the quick response. The only instructions that I could find during my research on replacing the OEM horn button was in the service manual. I was very confused by the instructions (I know party due to the fact that I'm not that handy). So could someone PLEASE provide me...
One of my OEM horn buttons actually just fell off so I ordered a new one for Acura. I have a couple of questions for anyone who has done this install before:
1. I read the service manual and I believe it mentioned that they airbag unit needs to be removed to get to the horn button. Is this...

I have a '94 and my driver side high beam light does not come on (but passenger side does). I checked the driver side high beam bulb by testing it in the passenger side bulb socket and it worked so I know it's not the bulb. Is this a fuse or connection issue? Another very strange symptom is...
ChrisNSX, thanks for the picture post. However, sometimes it is very difficult to tell what something truly looks like from a picture (especially true of lights). In your opinion, are the LEDs for the backup lights brighter and/or whiter than the OEM bulbs?
I know the taillight lenes are red colored but the backup light lens is clear, isn't it? Will a LED lightbulb still not make a difference if the backup light lens is clear-ish?
Has anyone installed LEDs to replace to OEM backup lightbulb? If so, is it noticeably brighter? What size/part number is the bulb and what vendor did you use?
