I just ordered a new 2002 Rear Valance and am going to send it to my body shop for painting and installation. Should I have the body shop paint it first and then install it on my car or have them install it first and then paint it. My car is Berlina Black.

Factory piece I would just paint it then install later.Save a step,you know that it being factory there is no way it won't fit.
Have it painted first then installed. Though mine was OEM the body shop had to widen one of the holes as it did not line up... it was off by about 2mm. Either way the body shop should know what to do. Don't forget to get them to properly mask the black areas and paint them black as well, unless you are not looking for a 100% OEM look. The OEM black on the 02 bumper is a semigloss black but a gloss looks good too...
