below 25 on race gas, and below 30 on E85 I would most likely stick with 7's gapped to .020 - 022, above that I would switch to 8's. Every setup would be different. This is assuming everything is sized properly and adequate cooling of the charge air.
Shouldn't necessarily have problems, they will foul out fairly quick though. What are they gapped to? Brand new plugs still cause issues? How much boost? What fuel? What compression Pistons?
We're working on a improved ignition system with modern coils and better thermal control, it project isn't progressing very fast at the moment due to a lot of customer builds.
