94 hood emblem

Are OEM hood emblems a Acura Dealership only item?
The prev owner made one up in Yellow as a spoof
to match his "F" cars.
Would very much like to go back to the orig. :smile:
He said they used a guitar string to remove the orig.
Anyone else R&R' d one?
Any tips?

you can also get a Honda Type-R badge.

The ITR front badge will work, the tabs on the back don't match, but it can be removed and apply with just the oe adhesive tape.

I replaced the emblem with the "H" from Japan and the center tailight with the "H" as well. Got them from SOS. I used dental floss and buffed the hell out of the front bumper. My 1992 had some oxidation issues and I wanted it to look factory so some serious "wheeling" was in order.

Got my local dealer quote on the badge today, $112.00
Not that I am a cheap bastard, but thats insane.
Any ideas?
