I got A/C problems and can't figure out what's going on.
The drivers side door vents blow warm air, which seems to be just plain outside air, sometimes it seems even warmer.
The passenger door vents blow cool air, but NOT really COLD as before.
The center vents seem split too! The left side vent in the dash blows warm air like the left door, and the right vent in the dash blows cooled air just like the right door! I thought that center vent would only use one air duct, but the two sides are warm and cool and it's an obvious difference.
Dual zone A/C?
Anyways, is there some fresh air valve open just letting warm air in from the drivers side (and causing the passengers side not to be cold) or is the freon probably gone?
Could I just buy the freon recharge kit at Napa and refill it? Is that really a DIY project or should it be evacuated every time freon is needed?
Any ideas?
