acid rain spots on glass

My car has some stubborn hard water/acid rain stains on the glass. Any suggestions on removal ?

Are the spots deposits or etching? If they are deposits then try vinegar if the glass is etched then take it to a automotive glass shop and see if they can polish out the spots.

Bon Ami and elbow grease is remains one of the best glass treatments in my book.

I agree, clay it or I've even used extremely fine steel wool and cheap liquid car wax. But that was on really bad windows.

Hmm.. I would have never though to clay glass.. I need to give that a try.

I wouldn't call you crazy. Clay works for almost everything. I really don't know why it isn't more popular.

i use the detailer spary that comes with the kit

If I'm just spot claying an area, sometimes I'll just use my own spit. It doesn't matter as long as there is some time of lubricant between the clay and the surface. But usually I'll just use some type of body shine product like they would use at car shows to just wipe the car down and get the dust off.
