acid rain spots on glass

Ditto on the Bon Ami. Been using it for years after it was recommended by Motorweek's Pat Goss.

Clay your glass

I agree, clay it or I've even used extremely fine steel wool and cheap liquid car wax. But that was on really bad windows.

Hmm.. I would have never though to clay glass.. I need to give that a try.

call me crazy. but i caly my headlamps too. he he he and if the caly bar is almost done.. i'd caly my rims too. he he he

I wouldn't call you crazy. Clay works for almost everything. I really don't know why it isn't more popular.

Do you use the detailer spary and the glass and clay it, or do you use something else?

i use the detailer spary that comes with the kit

If I'm just spot claying an area, sometimes I'll just use my own spit. It doesn't matter as long as there is some time of lubricant between the clay and the surface. But usually I'll just use some type of body shine product like they would use at car shows to just wipe the car down and get the dust off.
