advice please, almost ready to hit the trigger

The green line points to the missing bolt. I also took a pic of my panel gap for you (front passenger 1/4 - hood - door).

Good point there should be a green line from factory.

Also what did the inspection say about the bolts missing on right corner engine bay? There is no reason it should be missing unless there is more than meets they eye.

can you guys show me a picture with the bolt in that place? the inspection guy told me it's empty, BUT instead of missing a bolt they say it's missing a "rubber stopper" kinda thing, which was on their other nsx in the shop.  or perhaps it's in the service manual?

update: i'm looking at the body repair manual, although it is the 1995 version, there SHOULD be a bolt on NA1, so still unsure about the bolt. can someone confirm na1 and na2 rear fenders have the same bolt locations?

Got my nsx!!!

2 months have passed by since I first looked at the car, the seller dropped off the car last night and I'm quite excited. Will be dropping off the car to do the tb/wp along w/ 60k service, then afterwards to a good detailer for a full interior/exterior treatment.

Will post some pics later on today when i get home. The car's got tinted windows on the side and rear which I don't like, is it easy to remove or should I have pros do it?

Already looking at wheels to put on the car, have narrowed it down to the Volk CE28N's for the light weight, or the Prodrive GC-014i, the 7 double spoke design just looks fantastic imo. pricewise the prodrives are actually lower if i get them in japan and have it shipped over ($2000 + $300 shipping) than the volks. i'm even thinking about bringing it over myself since i'll be visiting osaka in a month or 2. has anyone ever done that? bringing car wheels through customs in your luggage? i imagine it could become a hassle with the security at airports and airlines getting more stingy on the amount of luggage you can bring along.

Congratulations, i'm sure you'll enjoy your new ride!!

As for the customs thing, i'm not sure, sorry!

Congrats, definitely try to join us at the next South Bay meet. If you want another NSX to compare alignment to, PM me.

here's a pic taken in the garage the other day. the car is now in hill top auto being serviced for tb/wp/60k, also putting on nsx-r chassis bars. next stop would be detailing, or maybe replace the carpet before the detailing. the carpet isn't in top shape, many dirty spots, and someone told me that carpet doesn't take to cleaning very well (really?).

already have some mods underway, minor/cosmetic ones... smartenna, grom ipod adapter. also have a momo steering wheel on the way, thinking about the zanardi shift knob (i'm used to the feel of the titanium knob from my s2k, and the zanardi looks to be similar). looking at the pictures of some later model (2004/5) nsx's, i noticed the leather shift boots on them are different, seems to be thicker leather with nice looking stitchings, are they backward compatible with 98? I like the nsx-r shift boot, but don't want to loose the oem gear pattern plate (sos one comes with cf trim that replaces the oem pattern plate, correct?)
