I went to a couple of the events last year that Joel organized. GREAT turnout of cars. Lots of Ford GTs, a few ferrari's, etc. A Saleen S7 came to a few shows, too. We had police escorts for a couple of events, which was nice since the numbers were so large.

Joel is a stand up guy and really bends over backwards to ensure these events are fun and safe.

We have various meeting points depending on the date.

Typically, for any event, there are different caravans to the main meeting point of the cruise - I put together groups in Kenosha, IL, Beloit, Madison, and Milwaukee (Subs) and then we all meet at a predetermined spot.

I hope that this helps. If not, let me know. The first event to HP Performance we will all meet in Milwaukee and then Gurnee, IL on our way down to Mudelein, IL.

I went on a couple last of Joel's cruises also last season...absolutely terrific turnout! This guy is great at assembling a cruise! Safe, also fun and thrilling for sure. I met many great people! Joel, I know I've been a little dormant over the winter - but you can expect to see me again as your events are professional and more than a great deal of fun!

Hello everyone -

The first event is one month away. May 10, 2008 at HP Performance Open House and Car Show. Currently, we have 50 people that I am aware (meaning I have emails for) that will be joining (Listed at the bottom of this email). Please mark your calendars and let me know if you are going to attend by replying to this email (if you have not done so already) . Please invite others from your respective forums as well.

I will be sending out more logistics in a subsequent email. Again, the meeting spot will be at the College Avenue Park & Ride Lot (Southwest Lot). I also have provided the address for HP Performance below. Each person will be responsible for their own directions from the Park and Ride lot to HP Performance Corvettes.

Obviously, I will be monitoring the weather the week of May 10, 2008 to ensure that the weather is going to be nice. More to come.

The weather is looking nice for Saturday - Partly Cloudy and 60 degrees. I will be sending an update message on Friday (The last update) to ensure that the weather is still going to be nice.

As you all are aware, the first event is this Saturday, May 10, 2008 at HP Performance Open House and Car Show. Currently, we have over 150 people that I am aware (meaning I have emails for) that will be joining (Listed at the bottom of this email). Please let me know if you are going to attend by replying to this email (if you have not done so already). Please invite others from your respective forums as well. If I do not have you listed below and you are joining us, please respond to this email so I have an accurate list. I look forward to seeing everyone.

Logistics
Please note a change below:
If you are meeting me at the College Avenue Park & Ride Lot - We will now be leaving at promptly at 2:45 PM (Not 3:00 PM). It will take us one hour to get to HP Performance. I will have the Sheriff block off College Avenue to get us all on the freeway. For those individuals coming from WI or Northern IL, the meeting spot will be at the College Avenue Park & Ride Lot (Southwest Lot). I also have provided the address for HP Performance below. Please note that most of us will be taking an alternate route down to the HP Performance given the heavy construction on I94. Again, we will be leaving the park and ride lot promptly at 2:45 PM as we need to get down to the show by 3:45 PM.
