Antenna Will Not Retract All The Way

My antenna will not retract completely on my 91 NSX. I took it apart over the weekend and cleaned everything up but I believe the problem is that the nylon cord has lost some of its "edge/grip" at the end of travel. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can you purchase just the "antenna portion" from an aftermarket manufacturer? Worst case, does anyone know of an after market antenna kit that will work. I don't even want to know what Acura wants for this part.

Yes, you can replace just the mast w/ the attached nylon cord.

Any idea where to purchase the mast?

Any Acura dealer... Tell them you want the Mast Assembly.
