I notice a lot of cars for sale that say they are not in (snap Ring Range). What are they refering to? What years have this problem?

What price would you guys put on a 91 with 2,100 miles? Collector owns the car and wants to give it to me with cash for a real estate deal, what were the odds this was the car I was going to buy anyways.

The NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions) is located at http://www.nsxprime.com/toc.htm Scroll down to the "Troubleshooting" heading and look for the section called "Transmission (including Snap Ring Failure)".

It's hard to say. A car with mileage that low may have potential problems because of the low mileage.

Incidentally, I recently inspected a '91 with 1400 miles in Chicago and it turns out it had been in a bad accident.

If the car has been driven here and there every few months of it's life, then the car is worth 41-44k without question. If it was driven 2000k miles in 91 and parked in his garage since then....... move on and save a buck on a low mileage (10-20k) NSX for around 38-40k........
