There have been a number of post recently about various header & exhaust setups. Here's some video of my Cantrell headers/RM Racing (B&B) exhaust with stock cats on my '91. The exhaust is several years old now but the headers were just installed in May. Videos aren't great but the sound is realistic. And it's my first attempt at Youtube.
When I originally did the exhaust, it was louder than I wanted but tolerable because it toned down at highway speeds. It's probably the boom'iest at about 2000 RPM. After the headers were installed, I was expecting more loudness but I'm sure that it's slightly quieter overall and exactly what I was looking for.
I've tried to provide video from the outside (at rest and driving away) and inside (thru the first 3 gears) and also at various hwy speeds. The objective here was not to get the fastest acceleration but rather to just give an example
