CD doesn't work, radio does.

I thought it was the smartenna malfunctioning, so I had it removed, but the CD player still doesn't work. It acts like there is no cds in it. Any help?

Have you try swapping a known good CD changer from a local member? It could isolate your issue. Maybe a cable came loose?

It might be a loose cable like stated before but in my case I got a headunit that works fine but the cd function.

Is the catridge empty? If not it may try to sit where the spot is taken empty it out. otherwise, look in forsale for newer alpine changer.
