Milt, just a follow-up from our discussions over the weekend.
The only specific "concern" with an early low-mile automatic is to confirm that transmission fluid has been replaced regularly (and recently), particularly if its been sitting for awhile (1700 miles in 9 years!). This has been known to cause tranny failures in higher-mile automatics.
I'll be back in-country over the weekend, and can also help look at the car if necessary.
