Here's a satellite shot of the ash travelling over the mountains to the east coast.
I've marked where I am right now with a red dot.
It re-erupted yesterday with a lot more ash. They've shut down the airport in Buenos Aires to incoming flights in general - they're basically just getting planes in as best they can as skies clear momentarily each day. Apparently they can takeoff just fine but landing is an issue since the ground is badly obscured.
Incredible more photos plz. One lightning bolt has enough electricity to power NYC for one week 100x hotter than the surface of the sun, I wana get hit and see how it feels :biggrin:
